(Spelling mistakes in underlined, important clues in bold)

From: [email protected]

Hello,
I am okay with the price and conition, but i am presently on a business trip out of the U.K, so i will have to contact my colleague in the U.K to make payment out to you by a cheque and as for shipping, i have a reputable shipper that will handle that, so kinly email me your address and name to be written on the check, so as to make payment out to you ASAP.
Including yourcontact phone number....
Best regards.
Harry.

So what for spelling errors?

If his money's good, why should there be a problem? Let the cheque clear, if you've got the money surely your responsibility would end there?

Unless you're worried about them being fraudulent bank accounts??

yeah, you could do that....but his cheque will bounce. Most definetely. You can put a cheque into your account for a million, and it will show up on a mini-statement as one million in your balance......but it'll bounce.

Nice thought though, I've strung too many of these people along doing such things.....now I'm just gonna sign up that email address to porn, even though its probably redundant and only made up for this purpose...

That makes you as bad if not worse than them...

no it just sounds so obvious thats all, if he is real then fine he can email me back, come with cash and collect it himself, but i am not doing what he asked

isnt it usually "il send you a bankers draft for twice as much and can you send me the difference with a cheque?"

im sorry if he does read this, then he can prove me wrong, i will have to wait and see, i will keep you posted lol

If you got the latter i.e send me money back via whichever medium then I'd kick him square in the nuts for you.

But if a nice crisp personal cheque drops on your doorstep and it clears, then I'd see no reason than to hand the bike to the couriers and let them deliver it.

I guess we shall see what happens...

If in doubt, DON'T SELL IT.

It's just a title, it changes as your post count raises, it's a feature with the phpBB type forum that's used here.

I was a Renault 5 driver at one point, I got through it Rolling Eyes

Scooby slayer now eh!, there are loads of headless cartoon dogs in my garage.
