What would you say, a no go or a decent buy?

No

Too expensive & very suspiciouser uses more words on T&C of sale than describing bike!

£500 for five year old Chink?

For that mone it shouldn't need 'TLC' it should have T&T & be ride away ready.

If you want a 'project' you can get jap bikes for that price that you can get any bits for more easily, and will be worth something for the effort & expense at the end of it.

Could be do-able, but if you know enough about chink bikes to tackle it, you ought to now enough to stay clear of that one!

Buy cheap, pay twice. If you can afford something better go for a better known brand, take care of it and you will get back your money from it when you sell it on. I bought my xt125 for £1700 and sold it eight months later (with double the mileage) for £1650.
