Yes that seat post is classed as set-back if thats what youre reffering to?

If not it would be inline therefore with the rail clamps directly above/inline the centre of the post.

Been told I need one cos I slip off the back of my seat....

Probably my fault for modding the frton bars for putting low bars (ladies crossroads).

Longer stem may help - move the bars forward.

As mentioned not ideal but can go for a longer handlebar stem depending on style on the bike ('A head' stem or 'Quill'). Can also get seat posts with much greater set back than that.

I like my handlebar position.... I'd prefer a greater set-back... The ones I looked at didn't look any better though.
