Hey guys,

I passed my A2 license just before the new bast*rd law changed and i have just bought myself a '97 plate Bandit 600.

It's a clean bike, 26.5k miles,
Braided hoses, Carbon hugger, belly pan, dominator lights, Bandit 1200 Shock, swingarm and wheel, wavy disks.

Just thought i'd share it with ya. I have already fallen inlove with it Very Happy And hope to stay that way for a while Very Happy

Take it easy Smile

Lad i bought it off was my mate and he had it for a week and just cleaned it and kept it in his garage, he needed the money so i bought it haha. But yeah thanks man Smile Feels good to finally have a big bike, as much as they are common, they're good bikes Smile

So it's not just me then! I honestly thought the first couple I ever saw had dented tanks, then I saw a third, and a fourth, and thought hang on.... they can't all be dented, that must be a deliberate design Shocked

I'm with the single headlight people on this, I didn't buy a bandit I went to see purely because it had the double light thing and I thought it looked weird.

Anyway, very shiny, very nice, enjoy!

Not really as you don't have to sit another test. The A2 is a load of bollocks on the old style test. You have an 'A' with a probation 2 year wait to get full power. Needless to say mine was an 'A'. Enjoy the ride anyway Thumbs Up

Im restrict to 33bhp mate. A2.

Not quite.

You passed your tests on a 125cc A2 test bike under the old definition of that bike.

But what you have is an "A" license with a 2 year 25kW power restriction.

You do not have an A2 license. That license class didn't exist until 19th January 2013, it's 35kW and (importantly) it doesn't upgrade automatically after 2 years.

Coppers and insurers are guaranteed to make a hash of this, so it's important that you at least are clear on what license you have. Wink

You going to love it, great looking bike.

I think frames from those days are quite rust free, mine is 12 years old and no spot of rust on frame.

Enjoy
