Sorry to do this guys but I've searched and can't find an answer. Either there isn't one or my searching is rubbish.

I have a 2010 Bianchi Camaleonte II Hybrid bike, that has done probably less than ten miles. Rather than leave it for another 2 years I'm considering selling it. I really do not want to put it on Ebay due to the fees so any ideas on what would be a reasonable asking price would be appreciated.

Oh well. I'll advertise it at £100 and see if there are any takers.

Well this Bicycle Doctor site tell me new it's £675. So I guess factor in depreciation and possible upgraded new parts fitted to newer machine.

Still at £100 that represents only about 15% of the 2013 new price.
How is depreciation on pedal cycles?

Terrible. It is on mountain bikes anyway. Bad if you're trying to sell but great if you're a cheapskate like me and buy second hand stuff from a few years ago for a tenth of it's original cost.

You after wonder if you have under priced yourself when 3 different people want to buy it without even seeing it. Laughing One person actually offered me £70 but only if I could deliver it tonight. Rolling Eyes

I'll take it to the bike shop and see what they say.

If there are no others like yours on Ebay then it could work to your advantage, as people will have nothing else to compare to. Find a similar bike (same age, condition and spec) and see what they're going for. I bought my Carrera for £275 brand new and after 3 year's use sold it for £100! For a Halfords special that was a very good return on my part, however it did have a few extras like slick tyres, bar ends, good saddle etc.
