Hi, I am looking for a decent quality helmet camera, nothing too expensive just something which would record a good quality video when I'm riding.

Any suggestions?

Polaroid XS100 is what I have, use it attached to bike rather than helmet. Does not record sound if that is important to you.
Very good hd.

Recording with anything isn`t a problem, its the rendering of the video that is, especially if you want to render the footage at 360, 720, or 1080 so you can upload it to youtube etc, as you need a reasonably good processor in your PC to handle the job.
Something like an i5 or higher with a good chunk of spare RAM. Otherwise it will take a millenium for an older PC to render the footage

that Polaraoid looks cheap and cheerful, and not too many tears shed if you smash it up in an off road spill.

I've got the £120 drift. Not as good as the Drift Stealth, which I lost in an off road smash, but smaller and I feel less of a plumb with it stuck on my helmet.
