Hi, will this actually add real horses?

Saw an ad for a minitwin on ebay earlier. The guy stated it had std titainium wrapped headers with an end can and 72bhp, all be it the fueling remapped by Steve Jordan. Now, I'd been thinking of a full system but why would i bother if the wrap gets me these extra couple of horses? I.e. is it worth a couple or even a single horse? Just curious....? I've looked it up and it contains the heat better giving 'better performance' - interesting, always thought this was to prevent the exhaust heat melting stuff....

Thanks!

Once gas has left your engine it has served its purpose, keeping it warm is pointless. If a bike has freak timing a reverse cone megaphone will stabilise the system by offering a back pressure to the new charge to keep it within the cylinder.

If I remember the rear cylinder SV exhaust is routed by the swingarm next to the shock.

I'd have thought a better reason for exhaust wrap would be to stop the shock from over heating.

Incidentally, I have a curvy SV minitwin that I'm not really making any serious effort to sell, but could be tempted to, still.

Did seem a bit too good to be true. Re. your MT, I'd prefer selling mine and go back to a scruffy 600 road bike for trackdays, but it's not really high spec enough to sell as a true MT I wont get much so I would rather keep it and slowly spec it up.

Ah; mine's not really high spec either from what I know; just your basics (though it's got some nice 675 bodywork.)
Thought you might have been looking.

It shouldn't be too hard to get a MT to 72hp - for a curvy, stick in the pointy cams.

For a pointy - just general tweaks etc if needed.
