For me, hot soapy water and sponge, rinse off, shammy dry, then wax, metal polish on shiny metal bits, ucf50 on a rag for all nasty bits, used oil on chain with a rag, job done takes a while but worth it. |

Who still buys Muc Off cleaner?? Go to Poundland, they sell EXACTLY the same stuff but in a rebranded bottle for £1. Have used it for a year.... it even tastes the same (dont ask).
I personally spray my Poundland muc off all over, hot soapy water with sponge, bristle brush on the hard to reach places, rinse down with hose, shammy, ACF50 the neccessaries then polish if im feeling flush. ____________________ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OPv5mDPQ14

Usually, it rains, it gets washed .
For my twice a year pre and post winter soap and water jobby I use cheap car shampoo, a bottle of paraffin for the oily bits and shine it up with Mr sheen for the smooth bits (don't laugh until you have tried it). Also ACF50 everything metal to prevent corrosion over winter.
Bike still looks pretty good after a wash and several winters of salty roads.

rinse with warm water,
muc-off and a brush,
a second rinse in warm water,
shampoo and hot water,
parafin on chain,
rinse again in warm water,
chammy to dry,
wax and polish,
lube chain, adjust if needed.
About two hours in total, do this once a month, and just give her a shampoo, rinse and dry off once a week, I like my bike to be clean. Must've got thus off my dad he is obsessive when it comes to cleaning his! ____________________ Gaz.
