Halogen bulbs

I just got new halogen bulbs and put them in, and on low beam the left one is on, and on high beam the right one comes on instead, is that normal?

Depends on if your bike is upside down or not.

Perhaps you put bulbs in that require more power, you can't just put in any bulb

I know that some bikes with twin headlights use one side for high beam and one side for low.

Is your bike one of these, and do you have the correct bulbs fitted?
