Hi,

So im writeing firstly to thanks to the 2 awesome blokes who helped me out today,
Had an off whilst riding two up through gotherington near Prescott hill climb, this evening (6ish?)
First biker to pass stopped checked we were ok, and offered some assistance, we assured him we were fine, and that we knew someone with a van to recover us and let him go
Then a van stopped, a gent and his wife got out, long story short they took me, my o/h & the bike home,
That's ignoring the other awesome bikers who slowed and asked if we needed a hand,

So thanks to all for being such an awesome bunch,

Good news is we are both fine, i have a grazed knee (think my knee protector rubbed a bit)

My o/h is nursing a sore leg, as i think some part of the bike bashed her, but its only bruised and not broken. (good the NHS in these times)

Plan is now to address my poor battered bike,

Quick roadside sic rep indicates:

Bent front forks
Bent Front break leaver
Bent gear shiftier
Smashed front mud guard
Scuffed fairings

Ill try and get the fairings off this week and start a thread in Workshop

TBH she looks ok, its just the forks that worry me,

Once again, thanks to all those that helped, got to get her fixed, and get riding again

Rob

Are they bent back/sideways or as happens a lot they may well just have twisted in the yokes giving the impression that they are bent.

Hope all is well Thumbs Up

Glad you are ok, you were late leaving Prescott. I passed through at about 5.00 and all was clear. How did you come off?

Sadly i wasn't at Prescott, just out for a ride

Hit a patch of salty gravel, and lost it, my fault really

Forks are bent backwards, Wheel still moves, but its rubbing on the fairing as far as i can see,

Early days yet, ill see more when i can get the fairings off i guess
