In about an hour i will be saying good bye to the CRF450 that has brung me years of joy and pain, It was my first bike over 85cc, i jumped from an CR85 on to the 450 and it was one hell of a jump. power was amazing the smile on my face when i first got out on the track, I was the only one on the 'kids' group (i was under 18 i was 14 at the time). i felt like a don brapping past all the kids some older than me on there 125's and 2 or 3 250's. I was a king (well thats how i felt).

As the years went on i got older and i changed MX track and started playing with the big boys, No 125's here, all 250's or 450's suddenly i didnt feel such like a king anymore. I was one of the youngest now racing trying to keep up with 250's with very experienced riders, even tho i had possibly twice the HP i couldnt keep up with some of these people.

Maybe about a year or so later I was getting good i was keeping up with most people i could clear every jump with ease, i was now one of the big boys but then it happend.......the CRF got stolen out of my shed, I was gutted. Thinking its gone forever to some scum who will prob burn it out or sell it for £500, 6 months or so later i get a phone call from the police THEY FOUND MY BIKE! over the moon i was couldnt wait to get the the police station to collect it.

Got the CRF back fixed it up but now ive past my test and gotten myself a 600 hornet so the CRF wasnt my top priority, so then I decided to throw in the towel of motocross and sell the CRF, it took me a few months before i plucked up the courage and stuck it on eBay. Now i sit here at my PC waiting for the guy to turn up with the cash and part with the only bike ive ever loved, good bye and farewell my ol chum.

Dont worry BCF proceeds of the CRF will be put towards what ive always wanted Twisted Evil can you guess?
