How did you escape? Do you have to find work? How does it work?
How much money did it cost?

Where's a good place to live?
I wanna make a plan to move out of England as soon as I can afford it, somewhere where everything isn't so expensive and ridiculous

Preferably English speaking as I can't speak any languages for shit

It seems complicated and I can't find useful information on emigrating

English speaking:

USA - dickhead yanks
Australia - very expensive

New Zealand and Canada not so bad. Prices pretty much on a par.

Any country that is predominantly English speaking, Australia/USA/Canada ect will all be as expensive than England.

Even if you go to Europe your not looking at much of a change, and in some circumstances will be more expensive.

If you want cheap living, parts of Asia will become attractive, places like taiwan ect. Those places are dirt cheap, IIRC.

I plan in my future to move out to Australia, mainly because i have family over there and an Australian passport, but i won't be going their for a cheaper way of life.

It's also approaching winter here, and I don't think it's dropped below 20 degrees yet.

This +1

How can you decide what country you want to live in if you have never experienced any of them? Laughing

Iv been to many countries in Europe and I wouldn't want to live in any of them. South East Asia on the other hand, the first time I went, I knew that was where I wanted to live.

Easy enough to get seasonal work in ski resorts and other holiday destinations.

Go work for a season to plant your roots there. Use your time during the season to find a place, a solid job and get to know the place.

That's what i'm doing anyway.

Might sound silly, but have a look around at teaching English in various parts of asia. Cheap as chips to live there, stay for a few years and save a shitload of money while living in a gorgeous place and shagging lots of dusky maidens/alternative ping pong players.

Alpha-9 in yet another waste of oxygen thread.

Give it 10 years, he will still be living in the UK.

If you were really bothered and had something about you, you'd have done some research already.

You could give Scotland a try, although the language barrier might be insurmountable.

There are far more english speaking places than that. The cariibean, half of africa, many parts of asia, middle east.

USA probably least preferable place after the UK. But some parts of the USA, like new york city or california, I would prefer the UK.
