I've never replaced the chain and sprocket on a motorcycle and don't have a torque wrench, shall i still replace my chain and sprocket myself?

Probably the best idea mate, but after learning the hard way it's been fine ever since tbh Thumbs Up

There actually a tiny hole in the axle on my bike to stick a split pin through, I now tighten it just enough to get one through.
