It`s the BMF rally over the week-ending 18 and 19 of May.
Are any of the mighty BCF going?

I`m going on Saturday and camping overnight and having Sunday there as well.
I`ll be playing moto-ball (google it) on one of the side pitches.
When I`m not moto-balling , I`ll be trying to get a bargain at the auto-jumble

A few beers and a band in the evening Thumbs Up ......whoohoo! Smile .

Pepperami`s second outing in the same year? Shocked

Surely I wont be the only person there from the mighty BCF, will I ?

Might go up, been meaning to for several years.

I used to go every year for 5 years or so but life gets in the way.

Are there still bargains to be had?

Normally if you wait until the end of the day they start banging out the bargains. I need some leathers so hopefully it'll save me a few quid!

One year i came away with a carbon helmet, tee shirt, ogri model and a set of allen keys for a fiver.

Helmet was sold, ogri is still in one piece and the allen keys are still going strong and regularly used.

Must be 10 years gone by since i got them.

I walked as slowly as possible round the stalls and was still finished in an hour. I can remember spending weekends there, walking around both days (plus Friday night shopping for members) and still going home having not seen it all.

It's been crap since the private companies got involved in the running of it.

Well I was there Saturday and Sunday doing the Moto-ball in the main arena.
Got a good few bruises and gouges, but I`m still in one piece Smile .
To think that when I looked into the stands , I couldn't see any BCF banners Sad

The auto-jumble was really poor this year and I felt sorry for those with stalls that did turn up as there was only a few of them.
The prices on the food stands was appalling Evil or Very Mad £1.50 for a cup of tea Shocked . some were even trying to charge £1.80?

I did manage to get some nuts & bolts and some grinding discs really cheap, so not all was lost for me.

Its been getting worse every year and was really shit this year, we might still keep going but only because we can get in free, i wouldn't even consider paying the exorbitant gate price.
The Stafford show is 100 x better.
