What don't you like about the one you have and what sort of cycling are you doing on it?
The big mistake people make is getting a big squidgy one.
Seems good until you start doing distance and get rubs.
You want something your inside legs aren't going to rub on. A fairly hard, narrow saddle will usually be the best bet.
In all honesty though, it's more down to what suits you personally. Mrs stinkwheel has a really flash road bike which came with an expensive racing saddle but she preferrs a cheap and nasty one I got on a second hand bike.
I use a selle royale "uno" saddle I found in a shed on my mountain bike which is just a single piece plastic saddle with two rails. Closest thing I can see in their current range is a "Contour Royale" but it's covered and slightly padded rather than being one piece of plastic. You pretty much can't wear one of these out.
I use a lightly sprung one of the same make with a very pointy nose on my road bike whgich I got for a fiver from a bike shop because he removes them from new bikes when people want brookes ones fitted.
Both fit and suit me well for what I do on them.
San Marco turbos are popular for serious road cyclists. These are also unwearoutable. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
I did the 2010 Round Britain Rally on my 350 Bullet. 89 landmarks, 3 months, 9,500 miles. |

I was using a unisex saddle for a while after my old seat was nicked, & actually found it more comfortable (doing a 15 mile commute each day). In the end I went back to a mens saddle, as it looks better on my mountain bike, and wasn't "borrowed" from work ____________________ Yamaha MT-03 '08 (crashed)
