Just had a text through about this, apparently giving away mini toolkits if you get a quote over the phone

https://www.carolenash.com/toolkit-giveaway/?gclid=CPyOhcy_rrcCFTIQtAodbAUAwQ#

toolkit will be utter pap but might be of use to some

Haha that was hilarious. Phoned up and got a quote for my policy which (isn't actually) due for renewal in a few weeks.

She asked me about my digital marketing job and she starts explaining how she wants to get a job in marketing and what do I recommend Laughing

Then tells me about her dads who is a biker etc, and how she always has her eyes closed when she sees bikes filtering as it scares her.

Made sure to keep mentioning the toolkit freebie, "oh that breakdown cover will be a good match WITH THAT TOOLKIT YOU'RE SENDING ME".

Sorted in the end, and the quote was a good £50 less than last years Thumbs Up now I know for September!

It is "you're", but it never looks right to me, written like that. I'll keep misspelling it and one day they'll alter the dictionary. Language evolves. Wink

Actually after not adding my no claims and protecting it to the original policy, a quick call to rectify and it came out as 491.30, but they offered a protection of excess for 29.99 so I paid 521.29 which isnt bad at all.

Got my toolkits, got 2 to my address, 2 to a friend from works and 1 to my parents.

They aren't great, but they will do to chuck under the seat of each bike.

Have split a box of cable ties between them and they will probably sort out most problems that can be fixed at the roadside though.
