hey i am new to BCF

um, i used to own a kymco stryker, but i had to sell it due to a bad financial posistion (hehe sounds good) i am only 17, i will be buying another stryker in the new year, cos they , imo , are great bikes

just thought i would introduce myself

Hello!

Just a thought.... I think you should be able to find similar bikes to yours for less money; the dr125 should be similar and can be got quite cheaply.
Stuff like the dt125 and kmx125 are faster bikes and can also be got quite cheaply if you look around.

cheers for the feedback, but the stryker is a bike i know and love and i want it back, the one i am lookin at is in better condition than my last one on a 52 plate for 1300 pounds, plus i like the big enduro bike look Thumbs Up

The ones I mentioned are enduro style.

The DT and KMX are probably bigger, the dr will be very similar and can probably be got for half the price for the same thing.

It's your money in the end, but if it means you can get one sooner and save some money for kit, doing your test or some beers down the pub Smile.

Only problem I can see getting a Kymco is the depriciation in price that you will have to expect if you want to sell it on. Smile

Bought a zing for £900 with 6000kms on it. Owned it for 1 year, final speedo reading was 13,000kms. Sold it on for £850.

Its only the initial depreciation which is scary on these kind of bikes.

Like the stryker myself, but decided on the zing as it seemed more mundane and I was a nervous learner Smile
