I'm getting shot of the NSR...

While I think it's a Smashing wee bike, I don't have the time to fettle it anymore.

I'd rather have a running GPz500, than a Broken NSR and Broken GPz..

*Might* be interested... I wouldn't mind having a track day bike: Getting the ZX6R near it's limits probably means going way past mine... and thats a lot of expensive palstic to sort out Crying or Very sad . The main problem would be getting it here as it's a fair old way.

I can manage to deliver it within reason, but for longer distances, a tank of Diesel costs me £50 and I can get 500miles from a tank, work it out from that how much it might cost Smile

I don't mind the drive, and I have access to a trailer if needed...

i WILL swap the whole lot for a GPz500 engine (running!)

Bear in mind people, that there is a Legal thing with Ebay, so better to bid for it Via Ebay...

TBH, I'd be more inclined to sell it to someone on the site, than a complete stranger, as I have done a fair bit to it, and don't just want to see it broken for spares...

If you can deliver it then I'm definatley interested... might even be able to meet you half way or something.
I'll see what I can find out and reply in the next few days.

I'm not too bothered when... my garage has got 6 bikes in at the moment (only half mine) so I'm not sure where I'd put anyway.

I'm not sure whether to comiserate with you or congratulate you on the marrige Smile ,.. best wishes anyway.

I'm interested... but I just want to know - Do you have any idea at all how much it would cost to get running (just a wild guess!) cuz I have no experience with engines but really want a cheap NSR :)

Thanx

Auction sitting at £360 thismorning...

as to how much to get it running... AFAIK, everything it needs is there...

WORST case is it needs new bottom end seals, I don't know how much they cost, or how hard they are to fix, but almost everything else has been checked/tested or replaced.

If you can get £360 for it you should be able to get a GPz500 engine for that (look in the breakers in MCN/Bikemart).

why is it so cheap if its only 99?

even if it will take a bit of money to fix it up, thats a very cheap price?

And I need the money...

Yes, it's a bargain for someone, but the engine problem is also a complete mystery...

Better to cut my losses...

I've just ordered the engine for the GPz (So need to pay for that), should be here Friday, ready for me to start work on when I get back from my honeymoon Smile

Hi, I'm very interested, but would you be willing to drive it to Bristol (I'll pay for the diesel, of course)?...also, will you be expecting the money straight away, or on delivery?

Cheers,

Tin

I can take it almost anywhere in the UK, if transport costs are covered.

Bristol would cost about £80 - £90 for the Tank and a 1/2 it would take (I know, I was down there not to long ago collecting the GPz)

Ideally, Id like paid First, and then deliver, but I suppose something could get worked out.

My only concern would be someone Bids, wins, says they'll pay on delivery, then see it and don't want it...
It's hard to get cash out of someone in that situation. (Hate timewasters like that)

If you win, then we can sort it out... I'm flexible..

Im pretty interested in bike. It says you replaced the bodywork, which is good, so im correct in thinking only the back end of the bike is scuffed? Any chance of you posting a pic of the bike on here?also how much will it cost you to bring it to Castleford, which is near Leeds?Ive got a few hundred notes kicking around and the NSR sounds like a decent job to take on.
Cheers

tp Leeds, I'd say a Tank would get me there and back, say £60...

but with only 2hrs to go on the auction, and it sitting at £480 you'd better be quick! ..
