I have as pair of overboots for the rainy season (Jan-Dec) and they work very well. The only problem is that they are useless for walking about so you need a plastic carrier to put thyem in when you get where you are going

I've never found overboots to work well - they made operating the gear shifter slippy, and risked getting tangled in the controls just when you needed to put your foot down. Never got a perfect size for my boots. Dangerous unless you're doing a motorway journey.

Try on before you buy if you can.

This, most definatly, warm dry feet after any journey.

Very slippy on a laminate floor though! Embarassed

My boots were leaking, but for £25 I got some patrol boots from the local army surplus store (they're new, they said they've not had actual army surplus stock since the start of those minor skirmishes in the middle east)
They are comfy as fook, tough enough to ride in and waterproof too. Thumbs Up

Sealskinz will keep the feet dry, but won`t keep the water out of the boots. personally I prefer to keep the water out of the boot before it gets in, keeping my feet dry

As a suggestion, take a look at HG over boots. https://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/hein-gericke-basic-ii-regenstiefel-schwarz-15189.html
They aren't perfect, but pack down really small
