If I'm still working in Oxfordshire in June then I'll be there. Smile

Very interested but really do not know the area, as I am from Gloucestershire and have only been riding for 4-5 months!

I booked a 10:00 arrival and will stay in Carterton the night before with my son (RAF serving at Brize). Hoping for a great day. Smile

11am booked, I have been to all of them. The organisation is hugely improved from the first one but somehow the atmosphere isn't as good.

More moving is the Ride To The Wall, first Saturday in October, wouldn't miss either of them.

Bump. Riding from Gloucester with a couple of mates. Will be meeting up for a bit of breakfast and then heading for the 11 AM ride out.

If anyone in the area wants to join us, let me know!

Yesterday's RoR was brilliant. Good crowd, fantastic bikes, good band.

Went out on Wave 4 and spotted a woman on the right-hand side of the road holding a photo of a lad that I presumed to be her fallen son. Really made the ride very real and gave it reason.

At the end of the RoR we turned around and went back to Brize (my son is in the RAF there) and watched a load bikes still coming through from the back of our wave.

Fantastic ride and plan on doing next year's too. Thumbs Up

Went out in Wave 5 and was one of the lost legion! Well so what I may have missed part of the ride but we got to Carterton and Brize, which was the whole point.

Great day, I am stiff and tired but would be back in an instant.

Met a couple and their friend who made me very welcome, after the ride we went for lunch and as one of them was feeling unwell rode back to London with him.

I have done all the RoRs and most of the Rides to the Wall, always a humbling and great experience.
