Hi, as title says my DT is spluttering at 8-9K and the top speed is miles away from 70MPH. It's only doing 50MPH. 60 If I'm really pinning it.

It's supposed to do close to 70MPH.

Things I've done to it:
Arrow Topend rebuild
Arrow Checked the Reed's they're fine
Arrow Adjusted the airscrew according to the Haynes Manual.
Arrow Sprockets and chain changed for D.I.D ones.
Arrow Checked the carbs main jet #240

Running out of ideas now. The compression is fine, starts fine but the top speed and everything is way out. Sad

Have you checked the power valve to see if its fully open ? also is the front pipe standerd or not ? if yes to both of these, i would check the needle pin in the carb slide to make shaw its in the right place as may be starved of fuel, hope this helps
