This appears to be the week for being effed around by tossers. Final straw was the 'helpful' chap who was going to fix my bike yesterday but has now fallen off the planet.

I have managed to sort it, but now need to get it MOT'd. The tattoo on my forehead that says 'You can see me coming, feel free to rip me off' does not help in these situations. I have heard quite negative things about Hayballs in Salisbury and wonder if anyone can recommend somewhere to get it MOT'd in the Southampton/Salisbury?Andover area please.

Thank yoooooo x

Oh, and if I can get to it without having to turn right from a standing hill start at all, so much the better....

I use Alan Lear in Winchester, because they're decent people.

You know you need to find a hill with a right turn and practice it for an hour (preferably one on a loop ) Smile

You'll soon perfect it.

I can highly recommend these guys in Hedge End, Southampton.

https://autotuneservices.com/

Polite, helpful and they've got about a million positive reviews under the Good Garage Scheme.

I've always used Bikers in North Baddesley, haven't had any issues with them.

I don't use any garage/ bike place near here unless I'm desperate.
Seems they are all out to overcharge everybody for anything and everything.

I use a place in Bristol for mot's that give me a trade rate and since they don't do bike parts or repairs they have no motive to fail anything that isn't a real fail. Might be a bit far for mcw to go and not sure it can be done without right turns.

Double take motorcycles in southampton, they do it properly. I can't stress how good they are, they put free hours in to my project bike a while back to get it finished off for me!
Only problem is they are always very busy, well I find they are anyway.

Yeah.... "Act like we're busy, that bloody Nathan's here again. Remember when we had to do that free work just to get rid of him?"

I thought the only one in the centre was hayballs and they have a huge parking area

This looks just right. I'll give him a ring in the morning. Many thanks. x
