Where to buy...

Does anyone have any ideas where i can buy 2 of either 10", 12" or 14" 36 hole pitbike rims and i'm really struggling to find them. I know they exist but the only ones i've managed to find are in the US.

Any help on this would be great!

What rims are you trying to lace?

maybe some small cc mx rims would do the job most Japanese stuff is 36 spoke.

Are you trying to do a small capacity supermoto or something?

Was planning on making a CG with tiny wheels and generally just making it into something that's a bit of a laugh. I was planning on using CG hubs so i didn't have to go down the route of different wheels and having to make spacers and stuff to get it right.

Honda nc50 express rims might be an option but they are only skinny 14" so no good for decent tyres.


Your ground clearance will suffer too so I don't see the point my self, unless you are going to raise the rear and fit longer forks or extension slugs.

If you are looking to make your cg off road able, just get some trials bike tyres they are fairly good on dirt and are not as wide as mx/off road tyres so should fit without rubbing, that or get a set of xlr or xr125 wheels.

It wasn't going to be an off road orientated bike, purely on road and i've measured and i'm fairly sure clearance will be sufficient for road use

Just found that CRF70 rims are 36 hole and i fairly sure they aren't wider than the standard rims

Anyone know any other Hondas that use the same rims as CRF70?
