I've had this bike a couple of years, was given it by a friend.

I broke it last night - is it any good and is it worth fixing? I only use it for cycling across town tbh.

The gear thing has snapped. (Did a sick bunnyhop onto a kerb with it)

Looks like an old Orange Patriot in which case it is worth fixing. A new rear derailleur shouldn't costs too much and it'd probably benefit from a new chain at the same time.

I think you might need a new cassette too. A new derailleur is relatively cheap.

Fit for the skip.

The swingarm and frame welds are different to patriot, but the basic design is similar. It's probably a supermarket knock off of that bike.

OK thanks chaps, like I say I was given it so will just put it in the scrap pile and get another. Might get a proper road bike actually.

If there are any decent parts on it anyone wants let me know, you can have them.
