Morning guys,

looking to get Mrs Dolly and little Dolly on the road and came across this on e-bay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321268839836?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649&autorefresh=true

I have had a look online for reviews and apart from an issue with the side stand beign not that good (but fixable), i can find not much wrong with them.

From what I see, they run the AM6 engine (pretty standard these days), and relatively good alround learner and youngster friendly.

Any thoughts?

Mike

Cheers

Any thoughts? I wouldn't send my wife or kids out on a ped.

My best mate had one (de-restricted of course) at 16/17.

It's what got me into bikes, he absolutely loved it.

Seemed to be a good little bike all the time he had it, though his dad was a mechanic so that may have helped a little.

Thumbs Up

We are not talking central London rush hour here, just the occasional trip out to town, commute to school (for Dolly Jr) and a bit of experience until he is 17 and I get them both CBT'd for 125s.
Besides, going to get them a bit of training before they go live Smile

I have a donor AM6 in the garage, along with bits from others which can be mod'd to suit as required and middle Dolly Jr who is a mech, so got that covered too.

Cheers anyway guys.

Well, went and had a look at it and it looked sound.

Clean, tidy, well looked after, last owner a young girl (who I happen to know) and MoT's dating back to new (or 3 yeare if you want to be pedantic)

Some service history with if for the last 3-4 years, plus bills for loads of work done as either advisories on MoT, or just general stuff (tyres etc.)

Kicks over nice and easy, started from cold second kick and runs sweet as a nut.

No leaks, no drips, no squeaks, rattles or rumbles.

This close to Christmas, got a bargain, £300 with a full tank of juice and a spare can of 2-stroke oil.

Need to give it a nice run when I get the staples out of my arm to see if there are any underlying issues, but it looks like my winter hack has been sorted and the others might get to use it if I let them Smile
