I'm not interested in the little shithead Justin Bieber but a US police officer on the radio news earlier in relation to him being reported for lobbing eggs at a neighbours place.

"I cannot disclose what it is we were searching for at the Bieber residence but it doesn't take a lot of working out that security videos can provide a lot of information".

So, what he's saying is. Not saying what we're looking for, but we're looking for cctv footage.

Why not just come out and say it?

You forget a huge proportion of Americans are thick as pigshit. The ones we meet are the ones smart enough to fill in a passport application and book a flight out of the country and to do that they need to be aware of the existance of other countries.

They know they are thick but they also know they have been given a responsible public office and a gun so they try to make simple things sound complex in an attempt to mask it.

So they'll come up with stuff like: *to be read in Texan drawl* "At this time it has been given to us to take responsability for commencing to investigate the allegations against the suspect. We aim to avoid accidentally prejudicing our investigation by disclosing the subject which we are searching for... And I'm not telling you it's cocaine."

Instead of saying: "Investigations are at an early stage and we are not prepared to release any further details.".

The number of squad cars is not proportional to the severity of the alleged offence. I've had a car, two bikes and a total of four coppers turn out to stop me to eventually hand out a producer. They might send a single squad car out to a report of an armed robbery.

All depends how bored they are.

From what I've seen on the intertubes it sounds like they looked for the tapes, found cocaine, Bieber paid his mate to take the blame and zero shits were given.

Also, with the Kelly Thomas thing, how do you attack somebody for nine whole minutes without killing them?!

Yeah I clocked onto that Kelly Thomas thing through facebook the other day, essentially I watched a man tortured and beaten to death, all the while screaming that he couldn't breath and was sorry.

Quite why it took 6 seasoned police officers 10 mins to beat and restrain a scrawny homeless guy I don't know, because if thats routine then they are fucked when 2 or more thug niggaz from the hood decide they ain't going back to prison for the crack in their sock, what they gonna do then? Martial Law?

The Kelly Thomas case is shocking. I don't believe it was murder, I've watched the assault twice and it doesn't look like there was a deliberate attempt to kill him, but it IS manslaughter, the use of force was excessive to the point of being ludicrous and I am left in no doubt that the first two officers with malicious intent meant to seriously injure Kelly Thomas.
