Hi, Any ladies out there or vertically challenged males who know where I can buy some petite bike trousers with armour?

I'm 5ft 2" and only about a size 6 or 22 inch waist. The pair I've brought that wear the best fit still are so big I can wear it as a strapless body suit.

I tried on about 20 pairs so and they all are really log on the leg and even though trousers are supposed to come up high, but I don't think there meant to cover by lady bumps.

Any solutions guys?

I'm not taking the piss here, but have you tried to get any 'youth' sized moto clothes that have the armour.

Hi yeah I have tried on quite a few junior clothes as I had to get junior boots, finding the ages 10-11 fit measure wise but too short and end up with the ankles around my calves and the 12+ ages seem again too long.

I appreciate I need length in the trousers to accommodate for sitting with my knees bent on the bike but its is actually laughable according to my partner whom has managed to get perfect fitting everything - jammy bastard

I'll have to watch this thread, my better half is the same height and I'm trying to convince her that she needs a bike Smile

Can you actually get junior road gear? I'm assuming there's some sort of age limit before you're allowed on the back of a bike.

As long as said child can reach footpegs and grab handles it's all fine.

Legally its the same rules as anyone else - helmet, appropriate seat/footpegs etc. But if the self appointed save the children brigade get involved you may get aggro Razz Seen kids in full leathers on the back of sportbikes a couple of times :lol:https://blog.tourstart.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/seat_child_545_bikegear.co.za.jpg

Plus most of the stuff you can get it junior sizes has padding but not armour and doesn't really allow for the adult female bottom.

YES she totally needs to get a bike! I've been trying to convince my partner to get one and then he did his CBT with me and we go out for Sunday rides, stuff our face with roast in a random pub then go home - AWESOMES!!!!

I've also seen kids pillion at Squires in jeans, light jacket, trainers. Oh, they did have a helmet!

FWIW GetGeared do Held clothing that goes down to a size 6 for women. Looking at your profile the Leatherhead store looks your nearest for trying stuff on. Not sure how their online returns works if wrong size/fit.

My wife is your size but an inch taller. She goes to mega motorcycle store (near Swindon but have website), lots of choice in size 6 at the store. Trousers (Kevlar jeans) she takes to a local tailors shop and just has them taken up a little, doesn't cost much.

I'm only 3 inches taller than you and never really have had a problem with clothing size, my waist is about 28", size 7 feet, but as mentioned try custom bike gear, there is a guy on ebay that does a full custom branded leather riding gear, I was going to order one. (Can't recall name sorry but I remember just looking for bike gear and he was everywhere and highly recommended on reviews)

Generally being this short and small has its blessings as I don't pay VAT on shoes or kids clothes.

Other times is just a pain in my B&%T

No necessarily. Have you got a muffy beaver, for instance?

www.scottleathers.co.uk do made to measure, but they offer quite a lot of different sizes/leg lengths off the peg anyway.
I'm only 5'5/ 30" waist/large penis and I found that a normal pair of leathers in a short leg fitted ok. They do an extra short I think as well before you need to go tailored.

I bought my gear from GirlsBike2 and found them really useful. They were in Hitchin but now seem to have moved to St Albans, if you can get to their shop they were really well stocked for ladies of all sizes. Their online store lists everything they sell though and if you give them a ring they are really helpful. I think they are turfing out last years stock for 2014 stuff so there are some bargains to be had.

I bought one-piece leathers from them and I am going back sometime soon to get some two-piece leathers. Can't fault 'em as stockists of lady bike gear Thumbs Up

Perhaps not local to you, but they may be able to offer some advice of who does what in your size.
