Seems new? Or is it just my eyesight going to pot after writing a 5,000 word report on a pneumonia problem?

Maybe even seeing a slight hint of one under larger text?

Looks classy. Kind of 3D.

Yup, has changed for me on Chrome for sure.

I now have PMs > Edit Profile > Log out rather than how it was previously.

Minor visual tweaks for now, the old girl is getting on a bit...

Got to be honest, it's giving me a bit of a headache. It's strange.

Another subtle but useful change, you can click your user name by the PMs link - and view your profile as others see it.
This was curiously difficult before.

It's under the font too - makes everything look slightly blurry... Makes me feel drunk...

Yes but you could only find your profile link by finding a previous post before.
Some users post very infrequently.

Posting an image in a thread also gets the shadow.

Changing it so posted images don't the shadow is a good idea?

On the same subject, trying to post images one after each other on the same line appears not to work.

This can also be fixed? Smile

Those are both intentional.

Smilies are the only thing that won't get an outline, and the only things you can post more than one of per line... Arrow Arrow Arrow

The current chat interface is a piece of shit and needs to be rebuilt from scratch, at which point I'll probably think about adding stuff like that (as well as extending karma/ratings into chat for more self-moderation there).

Korn; on the subject of karma (and I know that I shouldn't really raise the issue, but sod convention) I've noticed that while I've still got the ratings on my lasercutter thread, the green9.gif has been replaced with neutral.gif: In of itself, that's not a huge deal, but I wasn't sure if it pointed at some larger issue that hasn't been otherwise noticed.

The karma cookies do indeed to be lacking, given some helpful ones but they are still nice and neutral and state no ratings given until you click the blob.

Looks like it's sorted now. Thanks Korn Thumbs Up

Also, karma in chat? That sounds potentially hilarious. Will IRC users just be immune from ratings, then?

How about giving us a decent mobile interface instead wasting time and effort on something that less than 20 people use regularly?
