Is it 32bit system?

By the way, get modern GPU to get better game performance. Any modern GPU around 100 pounds would be alright. Thumbs Up

I've got ATi HD6790, with ancient Q6600 and 8gb DDR2 and games are still alright. Thumbs Up

EDIT: Sorry, just noticed it's 64bit, you had 3.1 so I assumed, anyway, get definitely more ram. The speed of the RAM does not matter at all. Only APU's profit from fast RAM.

EDIT 2: What PSU do you use?

Going off those specs you had a similar set up to my old pc world piece of crap.

I take it you have no cash at all or just want to upgrade on the cheap?

You can pick up ram cheap as chips from scan.co.uk or other vendors. you can also pick up a cheap 2nd hand AMD HD6870 for around £60-£100 depending on how hard you look which should run anything fine should you choose to upgrade in the future.

The mobo your using is spec'd for DDR2 memory at 1200 OC'd apparently. To be honest your trying to play a modern game on an old PC and you might find that although you can get it within reccomended settings, it might be laggy or slow on full settings, i've not played WoW so don't quote me on that.

you can pick up a GTX460 for under £50 used, miles better than a 8800gtx

ATi HD6670 is about 50 pounds, needs 400w PSU. Thumbs Up

Get some very very very cheap EVOLVEO Zeppelin RAM, alright enough and you're good to go.

As Cansa says, GT is really not suited to game, although the numbers may seem like they're the same performance there's a massive difference.

Full settings with decent FPS will probably need far higher than you expect. The 'Recommended' stats there are hilarious. 8800GT? Laughing

There is a huge difference between 'lowest 60fps' and 'highest 60fps' especially if it's at 1920x1080 or higher.

My laptop has a GTX660M (2GB) and i7 quad, and that was enough to do nearly max everything at 1920x1080. Just. In 25 mans I'd have to turn it off.

If you want to be safe for the next expansion then you probably want more. WoW might look like it has 'bad' graphics but with draw distance turned up and effects on it still needs decent hardware.

Basically I'd get the best you can afford, or just settle for Medium or something.
