Is my bore CHROME :S ? 1990 nsr

Ayup eyeveryone! im neww on here so forgive me for anything daft.
basically ive just bought a old nsr 125 rk for 260 quid n am doin her up. stripped the head and found a massive line down the barrel, i have the choice here of buying a new barrel costing 170 quid for a standard 54mm or i can get it rebored - this seems more sensible to me but ive rang round and a lot of places wont touch it because its too small of a bore they say. the one guy that did say he could do it quoted me 25 quid! really happy! but he said he cant do it if its got a chrome coating! this is where im hoping you lot come into use , ill try and put up a picture if you guys could tell me what ya think, cheerss
