This year we are looking to put together a run from the south of Cambridge which will meet up with another run from Peterborough all to converge on Addenbrookes hospital (Cambridge) and deliver Easter eggs to the children's wards for 10:45am.

The idea is to meet at Stansted and head out via Gt Dunmow, Finchingfield, Ashdon and rock up at Addenbrookes with your Easter egg.

As a south run hasn't been done before the route is up for suggestions.

Anyone interested?

Approved, but I would - respectfully - suggest that you verify with the hospital that they're OK to take that amount of eggs.

Yes, things for the kids, but they might also appreciate books, DVDs and games.

Thumbs Up either way.

Thanks guys for the responses so far.

The Hospital is very much on board in having us bring eggs for the children and security have arranged for us to use one of the car parks.

As for other presents we've been asked that they must be new and in original packaging and should only be small (card games etc). Unfortunately due to infection control no cuddly toys are allowed.

The planned route is here https://goo.gl/maps/fEBDT and the aim would be to leave around 9/9.15am and get to Addenbrookes for 10:30/10:45am.

If there is interest am sure we can do a pickup around Finchingfield as well.

would have come but according to this forum this is a charity 'jolly' and therefore not worth wasting peoples time. I have been told by this forum to not ask people to do ride outs for charity, but to work more and pay out of my own money. I wish you the best and hope all went well though.

Thanks Mongman,

A great rideout, over 100 bikers and loads of Easter eggs for the sick children.

Luckily we didn't listen to the forum!
