New Cush Drive Bushes

So at the start of the month I replaced my little CG125 cush rubbers with a set from Wemoto, 500 miles later my chain started snatching after adjustment so I remove the wheel and find this waiting for me.
The rubber had crumbled and the inners were still on the sprocket carrier, it took nearly a day to remove the old Hondas rubbers but these came out in 15 min, the metal was like cheese, Wemoto has already sent replacements but I don't know whether to use them, I think I may have to bite the bullet and buy Honda ones. Good job I did these and had not upplied them to a garage or I would be facing another bill.

Received replacements from Ralph at Wemoto and they are much better quality by looking at them, so I will fit them and hopefully they will be fine. Its good to see a company looking after there customers when problems arise. They asked me to let them know how they go. +1 to Wemoto

I have some from wemoto to change out the ones on the Ybr - hope they're not made of similar dairy products!

Your thread is timely as I need some fork seals and bushes.
Price wise I'd be better of getting aftermarket/non-branded.
Except I've heard a few horror stories of non-branded and it's a job I don't really want to do after only a few weeks.

BTW I was thinking of sourcing from Wemoto as I've had good service from them before. I'm thinking it'd save eBay supplier/quality guesswork (who aren't that much cheaper anyhow).

I think the first ones i got were a cheap version, the replacements were more meaty on the metal area and the inner was longer at one side to allow for the cup shape in the hub, also they needed tapping in with a socket but these were £12 each not £12 for four, so possibly Honda quality. To be fair this is the first problem with a product from them and they sorted it straight away, so buy from them in confidence or call them to check if you need info.
On the plus side I won a genuine Honda o-ring chain and sprocket kit for my CG on egay for £16 , away in a draw now for when my current set wears out.

Well I have resurrected this post as my replacements have disintegrated, these where the £40 set from Wemoto that Ralph sent me, just under 12 months old so now I will need to order Honda ones, I expected a few years at least. only done about 6k on them, and spent 2 hours chiseling them out again so for any one else try Honda parts first.
