It does seem strange.

I was just pretty amazed when I found it on Google before, that having grew up practically on top of the place in the 70's and 80's, so not that long after its demise and demolition, that I've never heard a mention of it before. It's a massive site too and as the article says, if it had been managed better, it could have been a great success and it would have been great as a kid to have that on your door step, rather than a fruit and veg distribution market. My infant/junior school playground bordered it as well. Sigh...if only Sad

Oh well, seeing as there's no other takers.

I've got three nearby; John Logie Baird, which rather shamefully is now so overgrown by foliage, it's almost invisible, a dedication to the site of Rockhills, former home of Sir Joseph Paxton (so a building, rather than a person) and this......

Dedicated to Sir Francis Pettit Smith, inventor of the screw propellor.

Next, your bike with a clothes recycling bin.

It's been 7 days. Do people want a new challenge? I didn't think this one was very hard.

There are three huge cranes outside the office but I've just not been into work on the bike recently.

I wanted to get this one but I might be ages -- certainly don't wait on account of me.

I passed someone washing their car the other day. Imagined trying to take a sneaky pic but I assume it's cheating to do your own challenge (?).
