So last night had a little off. Was taking a long corner a car was overtaking another car on the corner I moved over slightly managed to catch the gravel, slowed down and caught gravel at the side. Front end went away from me and went down.

* witness accounts - post floor hit*

When iv hit the ground iv hit I at a weird angle, managed to face the way I have came and flipped and went and done backwards summersaults.

Bike is fine, need a new rear plastic as it is held on by police caution tape. Will post damage and paint diagram in a while.

No not deaded, sore though. Swollen muscle around spine, neck is sore, left hand is sore ( right one is fine - result Wink ).

Spent 6 hours in A&E, most of that I was strapped down and had a neck brace on, which by the way are the most uncomfortable thing ever made.

Glad you're not deaded, not one for chasing compo, but any chance you can claim against the overtaking car? Citing that he was a hazard encroaching on your side of the road etc...

assuming you were taking a right hand bend and widened the corner to get away from the car it does sound like a dodgy overtake...

Hope you and the bike are ok - a lucky escape. good learning experience though...

I was taking the right hand bend. Car driver was caught around 20 mins after the accident had happened.

Police attended as they sit on the road and have been given a wee phone call to say thanks as well as the lorry driver that helped me pick up the bike and shuffle it to the side of the road.

New bits have been ordered, quite like the battle scared look but its the rear seat fairing lower that needs replaced as well as the indicator but other than that the bike is fine I on the other hand spend 5 1/2 hours in a neck brace needing to pee. I have a swollen muscle around vertebra c ? hairline fracture in shoulder and just tenderness, who knew coming off at only 50 would hurt like a b*tch.
