hi guys, i m new here, wanna ask a couples of questions

i saw a speedfight2 wrc 206 on sale that its got only 22 miles on it(13 months old) as the seller said its a unwanted x mas present and the mileage was only cover to ride home. so it should be in almost brand new condition

1. is it a bargain for 800 pounds?? wuts the market price for such a bike??
2. i was looking on the net for insurance qoute, but they all seems quite expensive( average 500 pound/yr, 3rd party fire and theft, as i m 19 and the bike is just 100cc, y is it so expensive??)

plx give me some advice as i dun know any fds who know about bikes and stuffs, cheers~~

206 wrc?

Ive never heard of that before

Good price for a nearly new bike, check for obvious damage as that is almost too good.

£500 for tpft is average for a 19yr old, learn to live with it, i pay £550 for a 14 year old 125cc bike...

Dont buy a peugeot speedshite 2 100cc they are crap bikes.

They have bad handling, bad brakes, bad build quality poor reliability.

I know this because i used to own one, a 125 4t bike are much better machines.

I paid £252 at 18 for insurance TPFT for mine with 0 NCB.

My renewal at 19 was £156 tpft with 1yrs NCB

I now pay £250 tpft for a 500cc bike.

oh, really??
then shall i get a CG125 ?? i been reading quite a few post on there and most suggestions about first bike for new biker is CG125, but what worries me is the impression of a "proper"geared motorbike is much more harder to control, is that the case? thats y i was thinking to get a scooter

scooters are crap, dont bother with them,

after your CBT you will be fine with a geared bike, they are cheaper to run and insure also!

I had a yamaha SR 125 which was a cracking little bike, ultra reliable loads of MPG and cheap to run and insure.

in a way miss it as now I get much less MPG and more expensive running costs.

for £1000 you can get a lovely 125 and it will be fairly new.

Go for a yamaha SR 125 or a Honda CG125 as these are the bikes that training schools go for.

Have a look on bike trader to see what you can get hold of for £1000 I promise there will be plenty. Thumbs Up Very Happy
