So unique makes me interested in how it would ride and if something similar would work for a larger bike.

Awesome was certainly not the adjective I would use to describe that bike.... Sick

I'm guessing it's an old fairground ride car.

I like stupid things like this. I loved that car chair that someone built and got road legal.

The world would be a better place if more loonies got in touch with their inner selves and built loonimobiles. Thumbs Up

When I was 16/17 the dragstar was reputed to be the fastest of the twist and go scooters.

Dragster was very popular around 12-15years ago. It didn't really go any better as a 50cc than any of it's rivals, and if your being a tit you could say the less aerodynamic design probably made it slower?

The SIS front end worked better than the hateful design used on the Pug slowfight, but it was always limited by the small front brake disc, in that when power got serious with tuning the bigger engine'd ones, it was a weak point, and hard to improve without a full front end swap.

I think what made the Dragster so famous/respected like a boss, was the fact it came as a 125/180, and a lot of 17yr old's that spunked all over twist and go's would go the 172 Malossi route and have a fairly fast 85mph machine on a CBT etc. It was also the joint most tuned ped sharing the 180cc Piaggio engine, that made r/w bhp figs from a stock 17bhp, to around 35+ when tuned to silly levels with all the well supported aftermarket stuff around for them.

You don't see Runner's and Dragster's around anymore really, but then I don't see many two strokes past 50cc at all these days!

I had an excited moment walking back from the chip shop about 4weeks ago, seeing an Aerox 100 with a tuned pipe, and one day walking home from work, I saw 3 kids riding a CRM125, Husky 125SMS and a 250cc EXC KTM. It was the most exciting walk home I've had in ages! Laughing

Oh and back to funky Peds, I like that folding up 50cc Honda thing they did, that looks a bit like a Generator with a casing over it lol!
And I saw a nice little Motobecane MobyX at the Malvern classic bike show the other week. It was a non runner of late 70's vintage, but for £50 I would have had it and re-built it all, as with a basket on the front and back all fixed up, it would have been my ideal run to ASDA transport. Thumbs Up
