just trying to get things straight about this

when you say UK bike, does it mean, its made here, or has been specially designed for the UK? and then imported

cos surely not every company has a factory in this country that makes bikes

will someone explain the whole system, and how you find out whether a dealership sells imports or UK bikes

a UK bike is one that is specifically made for the UK, meeting our headlight restrictions, exhaust emissions, etc. An import is a bike which has been designed for another country which has then been imported to the UK, beware though, because unless an import is UK spec it will fail it's MOT.
