After riding my little 50cc for nearlly a year ive started looking at bike, i brought a mini which im fixing up but driving just dosnt intrest me like riding dose soo i looked for a bike,
ive never riden gears before soo ive decided to get a 125 to learn on before my test,
i wanted a race rep 50cc bike but i settled for me old scooter so this time i thought instead of going for something run of the mill CG125 or soemthing id go abit mad,
im looking at a Aprilia AF1 on saturday soo hopefully it will allbe good and ill buy it, then me nxt door nabour is going to teach me in carparks ect,
is there anything major to look out for on these bikes its done low miles and has a few sets of spare platics and a tank,
heres a pic,
any tips u guys can give me on learning or ne thing would be much apreached,
pretty pointless topic i know just had to tell someone im soo excited 40mph gets abit boring and dangourse sometimes Smile

Just ride it around alot!

Go places you know along a route your familiar with. Remember gatso's are now an issue!

Just take it slow, dont get phased if you c**k up and annoy other road users by slow gearing etc... soon you'll be able to out accelerate most things so they can all shove it!

and here she is Smile
not bad for £325,shes just had a new sproket and chain, and has 28mm dellotro carb and a full rave powervaule system,
i got a spare set of wheels , 3 sets of plastics and a spare tank with her along with spare swingarm ect,
needs a bit of work,
1)new back tyre
2)exhust needs abit of brazing
3)needs new brake pads,
4)needs new fork seals, but ive been told it maybe easyer to buy some forks on ebay as sometimes u can pick them up for 20 odd quid,
5)could doo with a new rad the current one holds water but is quite bent hehe,

other than that shes all good, engine is sound and very responsive Smile
