Honda CBR125 carb/choke problems

So I decided to have a go a fixing the fuel leak on the CBR yesterday.

It looks like the leak was coming from the choke plate. (#15) The plunger was somehow jammed in the plate which I think has gone out of round and will not move up/down inside the plate. The seal (#22) was also perished and will need to be replaced. There is a slight burr on the plunger which I might carefully file off which might make the plunger move again.

If that doesn't work and I need to replace the problem that I'm having is that I can't find a parts place online that does these bits. Any ideas? I've tried David Silva spares and ebay. I was able to find a ffull choke cable off another bike. But still can't find the gasket.

If really desperate then use some silicone , cutting the nozzle small to make yourself a new gasket . partially blocking the air filter with your hand may make a good choke for initial starting , these small Hondas should not need much choke anyway.

Recently had this problem with my CBR125 looking for the plunger, Ended up buying a full S/H carb assembly for it!

Do you want/need a choke cable? Seemed to have amassed a few from the bikes i've had if you need one Smile
