Due to new job I'll be living in a hotel Monday - Friday for about a year and I'm not much of a fan of leaving a new bike in a hotel car park, so looking for a second bike that won't leave me as fuming if it got nicked.

I'm on the A2 license at the moment so been looking at old 400s that can be "restricted" and are relatively cheap for a recently unbanned new rider to insure, but also something I can take an alternative route home on and have a bit of fun on the way.

I was initially interested in the RVF400 after borrowing a mates for a bit the other day but they're a little bit too pricey for me to justify getting one.

/life story

Been drawn to the ZXR400 purely because I like the way it looks, but nobody I know has got one for me to have a go - nor do I know anyone who has had one. Just looking for opinions on them off people who've had one

Cheers

It would help if you put your location in your profile, then those with a zxr400 would know if you are close by.

BTW, I'm selling mine.

Fairsies. Updated that now, cheers.

Aye I think I came across yours on Autotrader (assuming you're the only scouser selling one), but I wouldn't be buying one for another 5 to 6 weeks until funds clear, so just doing some research until then. Yours will probably be gone by then, but if not I could be your man.

I'll probably pop up sometime this week if the weathers alright. Will print off my insurance certificate an all. I'll be in touch via PM for address and a time convenient for you

You're a legend, nice one.

What about an extensively written IOU on a post it note, a copy of my drivers license so you've got my address, and a new front fork to fill me in with if terms of said IOU aren't met?

In all seriousness if I can scrape some cash together before my cheque comes through next month and I decide I like it, would you be willing to take a deposit to keep hold of it for a few weeks until said moneys come?

It's true.
I only venture into Chester to steal wheel trims.

It's alright, I've met the world's scariest scouser - Purple Aki. Came away alright from that so I ain't scared

I'm a wool anyway, so technically I should admire him

In that case... Instead of £1300 for your bike Cansa I'll give you a grand and let you feel my quads after a leg day pump?
