This has been around for ages. I believe Oxford recalled all the locks that were in stores at least. Think they offered to replace those that had bought them as well.

Does anyone have the contact 'phone number for this?
I'm sure I saw it in a copy of MCN a few weeks ago but afraid that's gone the way of all flesh Smile

I've a couple I'd like to return. Any help appreciated as I can't find a web site for Oxford, plenty of people selling their stuff but not one for the company. Thanks.

Yeah, I'd like to get a contact address for oxford too. I got an oxford disc lock and cable lock, both with circular locks in them, but don't have a bic pen to try them Sad

Of course, these locks are about 5 years old and I got them with the bike Razz

Dear Sir,

Thank you very much for contacting us.

Oxford are currently offering to replace any Oxford-branded, tubular key locks
which are affected or, as a gesture of goodwill, which consumers are concerned
may be affected. We are recommending to consumers that, in order to ensure that
locks arrive safely, they are sent via a recorded delivery method. If this
route is unacceptable to anyone, then they may of course return their product
in the normal way, through the dealer with whom they have a contract of sale.
Please note that with your particular product we only require the bottom part
of the padlock and the keys that accompany it.

We assure you of our best attention at all times and if we can be of any
further assistance please do not hesitate in contacting us.

Yours sincerely,

Customer Services
Oxford Products Ltd., De Havilland Way, Windrush Park, Witney, Oxfordshire,
OX29 0YA

Mine is in the post to them next week...
