Hi im having a bit of trouble with my DT 125 and it dosent want to idle properly, the idle screw is so sensitive, either it sits at 5000 or cuts out?, sometimes it also sits at 5000 and cuts out without me doing anything, its not the mixture as the plug is the perfect colour. it also bogs down when i open the throttle after letting it idle.

i always have to start it with the choke on and then turn it off after im going and all of what i said above was when the bike was idling without choke.

i have already take the idle screw out aswell as the block? (dont know what its called) that the throttle cable connects to in the top of the carb and saw that it is starting to screw itself into the block, i know this can cause problems but is it the cause for my problem?

any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like crank shaft oil seals / main bearings

Expose the rotor and feel for play anything in /out up/down etc no good

Classic two stroke fail
