Hi,
I also have the oxford 900 (was a xmas prezzie )
It does everything I need, including rescuing batterries I thought were f*cked. some as low as 5v.
its not connected to any of my bikes permanently but its always wired up to one of my spare batteries. (you never know when your gonna need a fully charged battery, right?)
I guess anythings better than a car charger...or no charger...
cheers,
GAZ |

I have a CTEK MXS 5.0, which can do bikes, cars & AGM batteries. It has a desulphate mode and also recondition mode. While the charger is expensive (£50-60) it has brought two batteries back from the dead with the recondition function so it's paid for itself
I've had Oxford and Datatool chargers in the past and both have died within a couple of years. CTEK charger is still going strong. |

I have two optimate 4s, one is permanently connected to the Hornet when it's not being used to stop the alarm from flattening the battery, the other is mostly used to keep a couple of spare batteries topped up and ready for use.
They've never caused a problem or missed a beat and have recovered a couple of batteries that would have been written off otherwise. |
