Right i know a few of you work with IT..

at the moment, our backup policy is terrible - basically except for an db an some network docs (which go home with me every night) all data is backed up locally an sits on a NAS which mirrors with another NAS in a different location

I have recently replaced most of the servers most are physical, with a few vms

vms are easily to snapshot etc

the physical machines im struggling to come up for a plan for...

on seperate machines we have AX2012r2 aos servers, SSRS/ SSAS, exchange (will prob just put this to tape an be done with it) an file servers

thoughts?

I used to use acronis incremental backups on the servers.

One massive huge backup to start with, then just backup the changes each night.

Easy to setup , easy to restore.

Dunno if there is anything better now though, it's been a while.
