Hi all, just joined and couldn't see an intro section, although that could just be me!

Anyway, thought I'd post a photo of my trust old steed and say hello at the same time.....Hi!

Hope you're all well, and will no doubt get to know some of you soon enough Smile

Poor car alarms don't stand a chance in your road!

Are you on friendly terms with all the neighbours? Laughing

Bike has clearly never seen a spot of rain, or spec of dust.

VERY nice!

They were OK with me, until I put those cans on a week ago.

I'm not too sure they like me any more Smile

Thanks, and yeah not owned it long myself. Bought it with 8000 miles on it. I'm a bit of a fair weather rider to be honest, well at least until I get an all season daily hack

Standard at the moment, but I have manuals in my possession that I'll be fitting shortly.

43 tooth worth it then mate? Somebody else suggested it too.

Nice one. Yeh, rode around with the standard 41 for a few months, but with the 43 fitted it really changed the bike. It's only a +2 difference, but the power is there immediately, rather than kicking in at around 4-5k rpm. It does feel rather overgeared standard.

It does shorten the wheelbase alot. Not a negative IMO, but worth bearing in mind.

Cheers mate, I may well go that way then, I know what you're saying with the overgeared thing.

With that kind of MPG, the colour is the last thing OP should care about. Thumbs Up

I ride it round the block once a week then refuel ready for next week. Not managed to get out of the village without running her dry yet, wanky.

And thanks all Wink
