3rd or 4rd time with a van Laughing

Why do they always ignore horn, when trying to ram you off the road?? but a good punch gets them to move back.

So you come up on the left when the van driver is paying attention to the road ahead because the lights have changed.

You try to "push" your way through while in the blind spot of a van.

You'll be dead by the end of the year.

Awful riding.

The only positive being that your own video would almost certainly help the van driver avoid any prosecution or fault had they had you off.

I had plenty of space. It just amazes me his repeated attempts to move without bothering to indicate, while I'm using horn to warn him.. Had he been indicating I would have given way, and no horn.

Transit vans aren't the quietest places in the world.

Even if he did hear your pathetic horn, he couldn't see you.

So how was he supposed to know where you were?

You put yourself in that position, you were out of order for punching the van.

You'll be dead by the end of the year.

1) Nobody wants to watch 45 seconds of you sitting at the lights. Link to the lulz.

https://youtu.be/YgonH8O2F1s?t=45

2) No reasonable person would believe that another road user would put himself in that suicidal position. It appears that you then sat there deliberately, horning and raging away, instead of getting yourself out of danger one way or the other.

If this is his 4th time doing that, I doubt he'll make it that long.

At this point, all we can do is find out if he's got a perky girlfriend and prepare to comfort her.

Very worrying that you fuck up so totally and post a video of it for all the world to see. You urgently need to learn that you're the one in the wrong. Or next you'll be sending postcards from Broadmoor.

How clever. You can never resist a stalking opportunity, can you?

It's not stalking, it's archiving.

Watched without the YouTube herky-jerky, it's even more inexplicable why OP chose to stay bang in the danger zone while throwing his aural eppy. Horn is on the left hand, faster/slower is on the right hand. It's not either/or.

He's actually made me feel sympathy for a white van man. Pale

At 49 seconds you can see why he moved to the left.

Quite. It appears that you filtered to the front of the lights and then proceeded to wait in the vans blind spot. Was there any particular reason for this?

Do you ride in that manner when you're not vlogging?

Hi.

I've not been riding long but when I tell people that I ride motorbikes and they say they hate bikers, are you the type of biker they are talking about?

In case anyone's wondering Marm gave my details to Ste/CaNsA and this is a troll account with my pic. Just so nobody wastes too much time replying to it.

Anyway re: Op & the van punch, you put yourself in that position, would've been nice if the van hit you back Smile

He did actually start indicating to at least try and let you know where he was trying to go. Instead of accelerating out the way, or slowing down to let him across - you were too busy staying next to him beeping, revving and punching the van to notice it seems Rolling Eyes.

Could he even see you in his mirror while you were raging alongside him?

Ste - A pedestrian in lane is not a valid reason to move into another lane without looking or indicating. The correct thing to do would be slow down and let pedestrian finish crossing, particularly as the light only just went green - this could count as dangerous driving alone. I had seen the pedestrian from a distance and was well aware he was in the road.

--Matt-- that is well after the event. At 50 seconds he started to move across, and it was 56 seconds before his indicator first blinked, as if to say he now owns both lanes and I should be somewhere else.

Cansa you can download all you like.

I put myself in the left hand lane, which is a perfectly valid place to be. If the green car had any intention of moving I would have slotted in behind it. I was level with the van driver while he was moving over, he did not attempt to look or indicate, which the law considers careless.

Where is this "raging"? it was a light tap on side of a van, which you may be aware is very noisy, but no damage was done. Yes I could have passed quicker, but in this situation it was safest to slow down.

1st time a van moved into me was on motorway, he was from fast lane, me in middle, pushed towards a HGV. The road merged 300 meters ahead into two lanes, there was absolutely no reason for him to move when he did. Punched passenger window several times before he moved back, no damage.

2nd time van pulled out, smidsy, I accidently punched badge off the bonnet, while swerving, no damage to me.

This counts as 3rd time.
