Did anyone see Guy Martin on the One show tonight? He's got a new book out so was plugging it. It showed his latest injury to his back and he looked like a pillow case with the scar running up his spine.

Rumours are that he's leaving racing behind. It won't be injuries but the final push could be Tyco's signing of Ian Hutchinson. They don't get on and Guy won't like playing second fiddle to someone quicker.

I'll probably get the book but once it's gone down in price.

Watched a vid of his the other day, he said something like "I've made my decision to commit to doing X, which means other stuff will have to go".

I took that to mean he's decided to do Top Gear. But that's based on nothing than a guess.

Ive known for a fact since tandragee in may guy martin wont be doing top gear under no circumstances. What I read was there is a mountain bike endurance event he has said hes attending on the day of the senior tt. Rumor is dean harrison will be joining hutchy at tyco.
