Looks like rubbish. There's not a quote attached to it, Lorenzo was getting booed before leaving the podium, and as for him saying the penalty wasn't harsh enough - can you imagine Rainey, Doohan etc saying anything different? Plus Yamaha would be ditching a likely (multiple) world champion, and Rossi hasn't got many seasons left.

IMO there are plenty of riders on the grid capable of coming home with the title without keeping Lorenzo on board, it's the Yamaha package that is the winner more than Lorenzo specifically.

I'd imagine it was this interview with Massimo Meregalli that has fuelled the rumours.

Nothing will be decided until after Valencia anyway, but I can't see it remaining unchanged.
