Fire TV is the right name, it runs at 50c! Given its essentially a little AV computer in a package the size of a matchbox I'm not entirely surprised but still it seems a bit much. Anyone else have one? Does yours also heat your living room?

The Mrs has been making noises about getting one.
We have terrible internets though, any way of knowing how much it needs?

Reviews suggest that it will spit its dummy if your wirelessnets is less than 11.

Amazon is the 21st century AOL. I'd think long and hard before supporting them.

I cant find anything in the documentation. Id imagine it needs a good internet bitrate as the picture quality is great.

Dydey do a speed test via https://www.speedtest.net/
The sticks are good for the money
Cansa box has great reviews and seems better spec.
I will be getting move tomorrow but working till Tuesday will give mini review
My bedroom has some sort of wireless block router is only down stairs from my bedroom and android boxes struggle to pick signal.
2mbps is about right, ppl go over the top with fibre
I had 16mb before but now have 60mbps not much difference until downloading is involved

Forgot to check back Embarassed

Internets is 2mbit, I'll have to do research to see if it supports. Can stream Netflix and Amazon prime on the PC, but some services like 4od struggle a lot and it's like watching a video on a 2004 flip phone.

Cansa said 2mbyte/s which would be a 20mbit/s connection.
