Does it include 675s. 600 sports is quite a range. You've got the faggot CBR600F or the miles better 600rr. Then you've got their new 650F
You've got quite a few 600 floating.... choice of one should be "best for your money" but I stick with the GSXR1000 K6 |

All I'd ask the OP is where will he be buying from, and what bikes are reasonably available where he is?
If I wanted a Street triple that much and had £4k I'd keep looking until I found one I could afford, regardless of travel.
But as he's slightly expressed an interest in fully faired 600cc sports bikes, then I would go and have a look at some. Do you like, and can you get on with the riding position? Do you like or want a fairing?
If so then it's easy to buy a generic 600cc sportsbike for £4k. It's almost laughably easy to find good 600's for a lot less cash too. But how new/current does OP want in next bike?
If I saw for example a mint F-series ZX6R that was stunningly clean, and local for £15-1800 or so I'd buy it straightaway simply because it's too good a bike/deal to pass up.
If you want to spend all of your £4k then look at what years of bikes fit your budget and go from there. Id expect you could get 08/09 600's for £4k now, and none of the sportsbikes are good or bad enough to avoid at all costs, or sit head and shoulders above the rest either.
Finish, riding position, comfort, and style being about the biggest differences between them, but performance, weight and mpg will all be similar.
Oh and Condition is king over colour, age, mileage or service history, unless it's a project bike instead. |
